**Sessions held every Thursday until 22nd of March 2018**

**5 out of 6 sessions should be attended**

Skill Build is a series of workshops which can help you make your ideas happen. This semester will be concentrated on developing your entrepreneurial skills, so regardless of your degree background; you will have knowledge of how the business world is operated. The course is centred on the Business Model Canvas (don’t worry if you don’t know what that is- it will be covered it in the sessions) and will give you loads of advice on how to get a business idea off the ground.

15th February- Welcome to Skill Build

This session will talk through what the next few weeks will involve, introduce you to the Business Model Canvas and show you how you can generate business ideas.

22nd February –Top 10 Tips when starting a Business (please note this will be at Arts Tower, Lecture Theatre 4)

This session will focus on the steps that you need to take in order to set up a business. It will cover all of basics such as how to get a good business name, how to register a business and all of the considerations you need in order to make your business successful.
