Innovation Programmes and Support
Among the services the Growth Hub can signpost you to is Innovate UK, a Government-funded agency that helps the science and technology innovations that will grow the UK economy. It helps businesses connect with partners, centres of research and access funding.
Since 2007 Innovate UK has committed more than £1.8 billion to innovation, matched by a similar amount in partner and business funding. It has helped more than 7,600 organisations with projects, estimated to have added more than £11.5 billion to the UK economy and helped create 55,000 new jobs.
The Growth Hub can also direct you to other innovation support, for example R&D tax credits and the EU’s Horizon 20/20 programme.
