Transform SY
A virtual programme to bring together entrepreneurs from across the region and support their growth – has now opened applications, you have until 17th December to apply.
They welcome business owners from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds, and located anywhere within South Yorkshire. They are looking for 20 high-growth and high-potential entrepreneurs to join the programme, and your business must be tech-focused (whether digital, software, materials, hardware or any other kind of technology).
The programme is a six-month bespoke, one-to-one accelerator, and offers:
- Fully funded growth support for anyone looking to transform their business. They will support any growth goals, whether fundraising, revenue growth or building a team.
- Intensive entrepreneurial mindset development, to create the region’s entrepreneurial leaders of the future.
- A supportive community, cross-pollinated with opportunities from their other accelerators.

Launchpad
One of the key business support programme for new businesses is Launchpad. This is a £3.5m initiative across the City Region being led by the award winning team at Enterprising Barnsley, in partnership with the Princes Trust, Business Doncaster and several other key partners across the whole of the region.
Y Accelerator
In addition to Launchpad – Entrepreneurs and Start-up businesses will be able to apply to the Y Accelerator programme, where up to 10 individuals, teams or companies in the Sheffield City Region with new business ideas will benefit from a three-month intensive business support programme and the chance to win investment in your business idea to kick start those with the most potential for growth.
Scale Up 360
Focussed on providing support to new businesses specifically with high growth potential, Scale Up 360 is managed by a team at Sheffield Hallam University and offers support to the whole of the region.
