There has never been a more important time for industry and education to work hand-in-hand to create and develop the workforce of the future.

The RNN Group’s Dearne Valley Campus will showcase how local FE Colleges, the RNN Group and Barnsley College, are helping the local labour force build foundations and develop futures across the construction sector.

Building Foundations will outline the work done in our colleges to prepare students for a career in Construction and how you as an employer can capitalize on this.

Developing Futures will detail apprenticeship progression pathways to develop your highly skilled workforce of the future, including local HE/Degree plans. This focus area will give you direct access to the local talent pools being created in the following trades:

Plastering, Brickwork, Joinery, Tiling, Painting & Decorating

Guest will be provided with the opportunity to see training being carried out, find out about the opportunities to recruit school and college talent, and also the surrounding talent not currently engaged in education/training.
