Claudette Joseph has worked for a number of years in the fashion industry as a designer for Arcadia, Jasper Conran and Jean Muir before launching her own label. Selling at boutique shows and in specialist designer fairs has enabled the Claudette Joseph label to reach a worldwide clientele.

This course will help you start or refresh your pattern cutting skills, you will study professional 2D pattern cutting in women’s clothing using block pattern manipulation techniques based on a standard size 10, amongst a host of other techniques. By the end of the course you will have enough experience to produce a basic bodice with style details and correct construction and from this will be able to progress onto the pattern cutting intermediate level and further develop your skills.
