Scale-Up Support

The SCR Scale-Up initiative, is aimed at accelerating the growth of high-potential businesses through peer focused business learning, group working and industry insight. It is focussed on supporting established businesses to grow where they are ambitious to achieve high levels of growth and is an initiative delivered in collaboration with the University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and the SCR Growth Hub. It will consist of a programme of activity including learning modules spread over a three month period to allow busy leaders to participate.

The confirmed learning modules will take place on the following dates, interspersed with 1-2-1 sessions directly between each individual business and their dedicated Business Growth Specialist:

Thursday 3rd October

Wednesday 6th November

Monday 25th November

The initiative is supported by the Scale Up Institute, who are working to support scale up businesses across the UK. As well as high-quality learning delivered by local university partners, the programme offers networking, peer learning opportunities and will include a range of industry speakers from high growth businesses.  Businesses will be selected through a competitive process and will have the opportunity to take part in this peer based learning – growth initiative.  The programme is free of charge to businesses and is funded by the SCR Growth Hub.
