Fantastic opportunity for a Gateway Officer in the Sheffield City Region Growth Hub team

The Sheffield City Region Growth Hub are on the search for a highly organised individual with a passion for fantastic customer service to provide support for businesses across the Sheffield City Region.

Acting as the first line of contact within the Gateway team based in Sheffield city centre, the Gateway Officer will be responsible for undertaking initial ‘diagnosis’ with businesses that contact the Growth Hub, collecting vital information to offer the most suitable support on offer to the businesses.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain a good knowledge of regional and national business support services. They will assist with follow up and reviews with all clients of the Growth Hub and provide feedback to partners and teams involved with the organisation.

Assistance in the organisation of events for growth businesses on relevant topics in appropriate locations and facilities may also be required.

This position is a fantastic opportunity to help support the economic growth of the Sheffield City Region and work with various partners across the region. Within its first two years, the SCR Growth Hub has worked with over 5,000 businesses to assist in their growth and development. We are now looking to appoint a new Gateway Officer to support the next phase of our development.
