This British Chambers of Commerce accredited training course covers the following international trade modules:

• Understanding Export: The learner will be able to prepare an export quotation, understand INCOTERMs and packing marking and labelling. Be able to organise the export office and the processes required by that office. Understand export order processing and give an overview of export documentation and terms of shipment.
• Export Documentation: The learner will be able to understand which documents are necessary for an international shipment. Be able to identify where to go for sources of international information and assistance. Be able to identify modes of transport and their advantage and disadvantages.

Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the subject and their performance will be marked by external examiners on the completion of each module.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate; completing six or more courses will result in the candidate achieving a nationally recognised Foundation Award in Exporting.
