Key Milestones to UK’s accession to the CPTPP trading partnership and the value for UK Business

Event Venue and Description – Online

UK trade has undergone significant shifts in the past year. The new trading relationship with the EU has led to the biggest changes in day one trading conditions for decades for many. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted not only our ability to do business, but also that of economies across the globe.

The recovery of our local, national and international economies depends on fundamentally strengthening trading relationships. To achieve this recovery and its global ambitions, the UK government is moving forward quickly in forging new trade relationships with markets across the world.

Join the British Chamber of Commerce as they explore and provide a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities offered through the UK’s proposed accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

They will be joined by Graham Zebedee, DIT’s Chief Negotiator to CPTPP and Liam Smyth, Director of Trade Facilitation and ChamberCustoms at the British Chambers of Commerce.
