The session will focus on the ‘skills for collaboration’. Just saying the word collaboration does not make it so. This session will explore what’s required for collaboration to occur in this online world of work we now find us in and consider what managers and their workforce can do to ready themselves for it.

Individually you possess only one or maybe two pieces of the puzzle. Collaboration is about creating a space where people to bring openly all these pieces (knowledge and know how etc) into the room (be that virtual or otherwise) and have people to see different aspects of the same problem. Constructively explore their differences and searching for solutions that go beyond the individuals limited vision of what is possible.

The skill of good leaders and team conveners here is to build mutual trust, vulnerability, shared values and shared design and idea generation.
