The Department for International Trade (DIT) provide support to all businesses across the region to help them start, sustain and grow export markets.   They will be talking about the support on offer to help all small businesses via the Adviser teams in the UK and abroad.  Attendees can share any issues being faced and tailored solutions can be explored.

In this session Duncan Slater, International Trade Adviser at the Department for International Trade in Yorkshire and the Humber region, will talk about the specific support DIT has to offer, cover upcoming virtual events including the Export Academy which is a tailored programme with in-depth information on export procedures and how to get started with international trade, along with the new Internationalisation Fund which is a match-funded grant programme to help smaller businesses internationalise. This session will also cover steps you need to take after the UK has left the EU and the transition period has ended and try to answer any of your export related questions.
