Working with Sellafield Ltd, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and Innovate UK are providing £3m of funding for projects that can significantly reduce the cost of nuclear decommissioning whilst maintaining the highest safety standards and improving productivity. They are seeking innovative ideas from any sector and organisations that can bring together technologies such as robotics, digital, autonomous systems, sensors, Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence to address this challenge.
You do not have to be engaged in the nuclear sector as they are particularly looking for technology transfer ideas from other sectors such as medical, space, automotive, and defence
It is a 2 stage competition and projects can receive up to 100% funding.
