Focussed on providing flexible, high impact mentoring support for growing businesses, this programme matches SME business leaders with the ambition, drive and ability to achieve growth and a clear impact on their productivity, with credible mentors sourced from leading firms including GSK, Siemens, BAE, John Lewis, Amazon, BT, Cisco, KMPG and others.
Following a matching exercising of requirements, abilities, business needs and challenges faced, SME businesses are introduced to an appropriate mentor and up to 12 sessions can be held in either a face to face or virtual manner to suit individual needs. A successful Mentor / Mentee relationship enables ideas for the business to be discussed and dissected in a safe environment and can healthily challenge the way a business currently operates, in order to help it to grow.
Working in partnership with The Growth Company and Be The Business, Mentoring for Growth is available to SMEs with 10+ or more employees with the potential to increase turnover or employment and / or SMEs with a minimum annual turnover of £2m.
The Mentee does not necessarily have to be the SME owner, but must be a key decision maker and senior leader of the business.
Included in the Mentoring for Growth Programme are the following areas of support:
• Induction onto the programme
• Introduction to your mentor and explanation of roles/responsibilities
• Flexible number of sessions over the 12 months on programme
• Mentoring sessions to be held face to face or virtual to suit individual needs
• Mentor and mentee site visits
• Invitations to quarterly connect and collaborate sessions
