Event Venue and Description – UTC Sheffield City Centre, 111 Matilda Street, Sheffield

This event is aimed at supporting UTC further in achieving their vision to become the premier national centre for future talent in the Engineering and Creative & Digital Media sectors.

The evening will be a celebration of UTCs existing and successful collaborations and an opportunity to consult with industry experts in shaping the direction of employer engagement for the future.

Many employers frequently share their frustrations about young people not being ‘work ready’  UTC are passionate about trying to redress this imbalance by offering students greater contact to the world of work through a variety of activities throughout the academic year.  UTC believe that through greater exposure to employer led learning, they can shape the skills and attributes necessary for employers to access the UTC as a pipeline for future workforces across both sectors.

At the event, staff and students will be showcasing projects of 2019/2019 and will be handing out awards for businesses who have supported UTC this year.  There will be an opportunity to network with UTC partners and discuss which events or activities you, or your organisation, might like to support with over the coming year.
