Senior Lecturer, Tony Bennett, from Sheffield Business School, will present his recent research on the impact of domestic violence on performance management in the workplace.

The stigma surrounding domestic abuse continues to make it very difficult for employees to disclose their experience.  Lack of disclosure has resulted in disciplinary sanctions against many victims as poor performance, attendance and other workplace problems are often misinterpreted.  Tony’s presentation will look at practical actions that organisations can take to address this important issue which impacts on wellbeing and mental health at work.
