Event Venue and Description: Digital Media Centre, County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW

Following on from previously successful Start Up Saturday events,  another one is being held on 18th November 2017. The event is targeted at anybody in Barnsley who wants to start a new business or wants to find out how to grow their existing business.

The event will be facilitated by Enterprising Barnsley and the guests appearing will include; Danny Rich of Dearne Valley Web Design, Tim Ashcroft of Innovas Business Solutions and Rob Watson of Gibson Booth Accountants.

The day will begin with coffee or tea and biscuits and a bit of networking.  At 9.30am the structure of the day will be introduced by Ben Hawley of Enterprising Barnsley.

10:00am The first workshop will begin.  Danny will cover such disciplines as SEO, e-Commerce and Social Media.
11:00am Break for fifteen minutes.
11:15am Rob will cover important disciplines, such as; Financial Planning, Management and Control, Start-Up costs, Forecasting, Statutory obligations and Tax, National Insurance and VAT.
12:15pm Break for lunch, (you will need to provide this yourself)
1:00pm Tim will take you through some interesting background into how to conduct Market Research effectively and how important it is at every stage of your business development.
2.00pm Ben will wind up the event.

Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to enrol upon the Start-Up Workshops delivered by Enterprising Barnsley and also those workshops delivered by our associates such as Danny, Rob and Tim.
