Date: Thursday 19 July 2018
Time: 09:00am – 13:00pm
Venue: Tapton Park Innovation Centre, Chesterfield, S41 0TZ

This MasterClass discusses the problems and challenges to be overcome when implementing LEAN thinking and improving efficiency.

We begin by discussing the learning that delegates have taken from the “LEAN review” of their organisations conducted after MasterClass 2.

Implementation techniques, including Rapid Experiment Techniques will be discussed and reviewed for applicability in different situations.

We will then discuss the common problems that organisations experience when trying to use LEAN and when looking to introduce a culture of continuous improvement. Delegates will be shown tips on how to overcome resistance.

Finally, methods of measuring improvement, including costs will be discussed.

This Masterclass will cover:

  • Review their LEAN findings from their own organisation
  • Learn about implementation and Rapid Experiments
  • Discuss the barriers to LEAN implementation
  • Understand the importance of continuous improvement (Check – Plan – Do)
