With another Christmas fast approaching, the number of convictions for drink driving and other road traffic related offences is set to increase. Currently over 50,000 people a year are convicted of drink drive related offences, with another 3,000 killed or injured as a direct consequence.

Road policing teams will shortly commence their annual clampdown on road users using high visibility patrols and dedicated stop and search sites across South Yorkshire. Our team of experts will warn in particular of the dangers of drink and drug driving / related offences and the potential consequences, share experiences and advise how best to avoid falling foul of the law so you can continue to enjoy the festive period and ensure this year is one to remember for the right reasons.
