Event Venue and Description – Grant Thornton UK LLP, 1 Holly Street, Sheffield

This scheme, a joint venture between the Sheffield City Region (SCR) and the UK India Business Council (UKIBC),is on the hunt for 10 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) who want to develop their business links with India, which will culminate in a trade mission to the country in autumn 2020.

Successful applications will receive 10 days of dedicated support, alongside the development of an India business plan, including company-specific market research and competitor analysis alongside workshops and business mentoring.

Each successful business will be guaranteed a minimum of five appointments with potential partners whilst in India as part of the trade mission.

This launch event will give attendees the chance to hear from other local companies who have successfully expanded into trading with India, a panel discussion on the opportunities in the country, and further details on the Growth Champions scheme itself including the chance to talk 1-2-1 with experts from the SCR and UKIBC.
