About this event

Do you regularly work with local SMEs? Do you want to support your clients to grow and become more innovative and successful? Would access to academic expertise and world-class facilities at zero cost help?

On the 11th October, we’re hosting an event specifically for business intermediaries to enhance their knowledge of the SME innovation support available at Sheffield Hallam University.

This event is an opportunity for you to hear about the innovation funding and programmes available for SMEs in the region and find out how your clients can access them. Add more value and strengthen your client relationships by deepening your knowledge of the innovation support available, allowing you to make informed, relevant signposting and referral decisions.

You’ll also get the chance to take a look at some of the state-of-the-art facilities available at Sheffield Hallam University and network with other regional intermediaries over lunch.

During the event, you will:

– Hear about Sheffield Hallam University’s innovation support programmes, including Sheffield Innovation Programme and Digital Innovation for Growth.

– Find out how your clients can benefit from funded support and access to academic expertise.

– View our state-of-the-art facilities and find out how your clients can access these resources.

Business intermediaries, local authority business support teams, the business support and advisory community, professional services providers, client facing professionals and anyone wanting to add value to their client relationships.

This event will take place at both the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre and the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering. You will receive further information, including venue details and an agenda closer to the event.
