Incoterms and Preferential Rules of Origin

Event Venue and Description – Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster

This British Chambers of Commerce accredited training course covers the following two international trade modules:

  • Incoterms The learner will be able to understand the purpose of Incoterms. Be able to understand the definitions of the Incoterms 2010 rules. Be able to identify what are the roles of the parties involved in deciding which INCOTERM is acceptable and their responsibilities. Be able to understand the benefits of Incoterms and be able to identify where to go for help and information.
  • Preferential rules of origin The learner will have an understanding of the difference between Preference and Non-Preference Origin. Have an understanding of the rules determining preference rules of origin. Have an understanding of the percentage rule and how to apply it.

Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the subject and their performance will be marked by external examiners on the completion of each module.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate; completing six or more courses will result in the candidate achieving a nationally recognised Foundation Award in Exporting.
