Founder Brunch is BACK! After the summer hiatus, they are back in the game with a schedule of awesome founders sharing their startup journeys and helping you avoid some of the pitfalls that they did along the way.

First up, Jerome Jacob from PHROOTI – originally conceived as a tastier alternative to fruit tea, Jerome’s Lean Startup approach to business and taking on board customer feedback has seen him pivot PHROOTI several times. Jerome’s perseverance and persistence helped him raise Angel investment and has led to him launching PHROOTI Water: a refreshingly fruity, naturally low-sugar drink that has no added sugar or sweeteners and uses real crushed fruit, rather than just juices like their competitors.

Jerome has taken his product through several rounds of manufacturing, has become a supplier to large retailers and has now had their entire range of products certified by Sugarwise: the world’s first independent sugar-claim verification organisation. Along the way, Jerome realised a social mission of PHROOTI – to help reduce the nation’s sugar consumption while also helping with conservation projects by donating 10% of the business’ profits to partner charity: Plantlife.
