Event Venue and Description – The Dome, Doncaster

The Doncaster Skills Academy is proud to be hosting its third annual “Skills Fest”.

This careers fair is a chance for local and regional businesses to not only showcase and exhibit their brand, products and services, but also to encourage young people to gain skills which enable them to work for you in the future.

The fair will inspire, enthuse and motivate young students to think about their prospective careers, employment options available to them and help to make the most of their remaining time in education.

Previous fairs have attracted circa.2000 local students combined, who have been able to interact with over 120 local businesses. With your help the students attending will be provided with vital information needed in order for them to make a fully informed and thought out decision about their future. 

The Doncaster Skills Academy, currently in its fourth year of running, now works with all 17 secondary schools in the borough. All of whom will be invited to attend on the day. We anticipate pupils being aged 14yrs & upwards.

In order for you to get the most out of the careers fair and to inspire young people attending, we strongly suggest that you demonstrate the products and services you offer as well as bringing along a ‘Have a Go’ memorable and interactive activity for the young people to get involved in. Doing this will make your stand popular and attract more young people. It may also be beneficial to bring along any apprentices/young people working within in your organisation so that they can share their experiences with our future workforce.

N.B. Please note that the exhibitor fee for Training Providers, who are not Doncaster Chamber members is £100+VAT
