DIT at Low Carbon Vehicle Event 2019

Event Venue and Description – Millbrook, Bedfordshire

Cenex-LCV, the leading low carbon vehicle and technology event in the UK, has attracted growing international attention. It offers an extensive technology exhibition and a seminar programme with a range of invited speakers presenting innovative R&D from our leading automotive technology companies and universities.

The Connected Automated Mobility (CAM) event is being newly launched after 3 years of technology showcasing within the LCV event supported by the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) and the Department for International Trade (DIT). The CAM event will demonstrate the latest developments and results from UK connected and autonomous vehicle projects.

DIT continues its long-standing support for this event and is pleased to be present at the UK Government Pavilion with colleagues from the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), CCAV, The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), Innovate UK, and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) to help visitors understand the range of support on offer from government to companies operating in this area of automotive research and development.

DIT are delighted to also bring an international delegation of potential buyers and investors to LCV/CAM from a range of overseas markets. These companies are keen to explore opportunities to collaborate with the UK and other international companies and organisations in the fields of low-carbon propulsion, vehicle light weighting and connected and autonomous vehicles.
