This one day course will cover the following:

• Understanding the roles of HMRC, rules of origin and Intra EC trade
• How to determine the origin of goods
• Preference documents for different countries
• Customs notices and VAT
• Understanding customs procedures and the UK trade tariff
• Essential information for customs entry
• Understanding the different duties payable and how to calculate them

There will be a short test at the end of this course which will be to submitted to British Chamber of Commerce to become in order for the delegate to receive accreditation. Accreditation is received if delegate is successful in passing the test.
