Change after Change – Supporting Growth through Degree Apprenticeships

Event Venue and Description – online

The CILT and Sheffield Hallam University have partnered to produce a networking event bringing CILT members and other interested stakeholders to reflect on ‘change after change’: Supporting Growth through Degree Apprenticeships.

The event features keynote presentations from Tony Mannix, CEO Clipper Logistics and Paul Mount, Deputy Agent for Yorkshire & Humber at the Bank of England. Tony will explain the growth in the business, and how this growth has attracted new talent into his business through Degree Apprenticeships. Paul will reflect on the current economic trends and data from the Bank of England and explain how financial growth is forecast across the sectors after the pandemic.

Finally, the academic and Business Development teams from Sheffield Hallam University will explain how they are seeing an exponential growth in Degree Apprenticeships including the newly created Supply Chain Leadership Degree Apprenticeship. The delegates will learn that the programme is accredited by the CILT, and how to get involved with the Government levy to attract career ready talent that meet the demands of the new normal. The event is open for CEOs, Senior Managers, HR Managers and Operational Managers from all business sectors and across the CILT portfolio.
