This webinar will update you on public procurement issues arising from the current pandemic. This includes the latest Cabinet Office Procurement Policy Notes (PPNs) covering issues such as the flexibilities to award critical contracts with greater urgency, and measures to support continuity of payment for existing public sector suppliers.  Also covered will be the new Retail and Hospitality Grant Scheme, enabling businesses in these sectors to apply for cash grant of up to £25,000 per property.

This webinar will also look at emergent procurement trends more broadly, such as the impact from some tenders being cancelled or postponed in the short term, or having more fluid response deadlines, as well as the imperative of sustaining the public procurement pipeline to help pump prime our economic recovery.
