Brexit Preparedness Workshop for Haulage Companies

Event Venue and Description – Mercure Leeds Parkway, Otley Road, Leeds

With the UK and EU yet to reach an agreement on their future trading relationship, it is vital that good operators are as prepared as possible for a no-deal Brexit.  To guide hauliers through this challenging time, the Freight Transport Association has launched a series of free half day workshops, taking place in September and October 2019.

In the event of a no-deal Brexit, new border procedures and haulier responsibilities will come into effect immediately.  Hauliers must ensure that they fully understand the new road haulage procedures, documentation requirements, and responsibilities that will arise after 31st October 2019, otherwise they risk their operations coming to a standstill.

This free Brexit preparation workshop, developed in partnership with the Department for Transport, will provide hauliers with all the information needed to keep EU-UK operations running as smoothly as possible in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
