Have you got what it takes to #BeatTheSheff? – an event in association with Food Works.

Calling all cooks in Sheffield, post your entries via social media to be selected to take part at a live semi final cook off held on 20th March at Sheffield Hallam commercial kitchen. The winner will take on a professional chef in the final to be crowned Sheffield’s Best Home Cook and win a grand prize!

There’s a catch – all the dishes must demonstrate how you are utilising SURPLUS FOOD (food that would have otherwise been thrown away) with the hashtag #RepurposeYourSurplus, #BeatTheSheff and tag @thefoodworkssf for your entry to count.  You will receive confirmation of entry, if not send a message to @beatthesheff or The Next Project on Facebook.
