An Introduction to the UK Tradeshow Programme: Q&A

If your business has a turnover of £85,000 and up to £5 million, you could be eligible for support to attend, or exhibit at, a Trade Show overseas. Join Andrew Sayer, Assistant Director for the UK Tradeshow Programme, as he shares the latest updates and answers your questions on the programme, what it is and how you can get involved.

Delivered by the UK Export Academy from the Department for International Trade (DIT) who gives businesses the know-how to sell to customers around the world by learning from experts in international trade.

The UK Export Academy has been designed to accommodate different levels of exporting experience, whether your business is interested in starting to sell internationally or looking to grow your international sales further. The academy will you to overcome common challenges that businesses can face.

  1. Foundation course: Build your knowledge and confidence if you’re relatively new to selling internationally or interested in learning about how to start. You will leave the foundation course with an export action plan tailored to your business.
  2. Sector faculties: Sector specific webinars, masterclasses and virtual missions. More experienced exporters can join sector faculties to provide your business with specific information to allow you to operate effectively in particular foreign markets or sectors.
  3. Market access events: Learn about the benefits of new market opportunities, including the benefits of new free trade agreements.
