Improving Efficiency With Microsoft Office (Chesterfield)

Due to popular demand we are pleased to announce our second Improving Efficiency With Microsoft Office Masterclass.

The Masterclass will be presented to allow businesses to enhance their Microsoft Office skills, looking at Intermediate level Excel and how it can develop your business and Outlook to enhance productivity. The Masterclass will also include other aspects of Microsoft Office functions which can support your business growth.

As this is a practical Masterclass, delegates will need to bring their laptops with the full version of outlook installed, including excel. Delegates will be using their own email inbox and excel on this Masterclass.

  • Excel Tips and Tricks – it’s not as complicated as it looks.

What are the benefits to my business?

This Masterclass will unlock some of the ‘hidden gems’ which lie inside both Excel and Outlook, features which are relatively simple to understand and use, but are effective in saving you time and increasing efficiency.

Who is leading it?

The session will be led by Andy Hogg, joint Owner/Director of The IT Trainer, is an IT Specialist with proven teaching and technical skills gained during the 27 years he has worked within the IT Industry. Andy brings a wealth of knowledge to his sessions, combining a unique, friendly and focussed training style. A graduate of De Montfort University (B.Sc Mathematics), Andy also has MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) accreditations.

Who is the Masterclass for?

This Masterclass is for all growing SMEs within the Sheffield City Region, as long as the below eligibility criteria is met.

The Masterclass will be beneficial to those who are looking to become more productive in Outlook and Excel. There is no restriction in terms of job role or sector, and the delegates only require a basic knowledge of the products to get the most out of the session.

A/ Free parking is available and there is a bus stop across the street of the venue.

Q/ I would like to bring a colleague, is this ok?

A/ No, only one attendee per company is permitted.

A/ Hot and cold refreshments will be provided

Eligibility

Only one registration per business via Eventbrite will be confirmed. If additional people from your business would like to attend, they can be added to a waiting list by emailing enhancementproject@sheffieldcityregion.org.uk with the business name, name of additional attendee and contact telephone number. If this Masterclass isn’t fully subscribed upon the closure of registrations, we will contact you to offer the additional place. The waiting list will be prioritised on a first come first served basis. Businesses that register more than one attendee via Eventbrite will be contacted and asked to nominate one person to attend.

This Masterclass is open to small and medium-sized enterprises based in the Sheffield City Region. If you are unsure whether you fall into this region you can use the postcode checker.

A part of your business must be based in one of the following districts: Barnsley, Bassetlaw, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, Doncaster, North East Derbyshire. Rotherham or Sheffield.

Please note that if your firm that is part of a larger Group you may need to include staff headcount, turnover, balance sheet data for the Group too, to ascertain whether it is eligible.

We are pleased to be able to provide this masterclass free of charge due to funding from the European Regional Development Fund. There are a number of eligibility criteria for attendees which we will check using the online registration questions and in a phone call to every attendee prior to the event.
