The company had recently secured a number of valuable contracts from venture capital backed technology companies based in London to recruit candidates across their technical, sales, creative, marketing and PR divisions. They decided to contact the Growth Hub to gain funding to take on additional staff to deliver the increased demand for their services.
U-NEEK Solutions LTD contacted a member of the Growth Hub’s Access to Finance team who concluded the company would need a set amount of funding to achieve their aims and to help deliver on an increased workload.
The advisor from the Growth Hub introduced the company to Finance for Enterprise (FfE), a grant supplier which regularly provides loans to early-stage businesses who granted their initial request for finance.
Within four weeks of making the initial enquiry, U-NEEK had secured additional funds and were able to take on two additional members of staff. A further four are now being planned to be recruited in the next six months.
