AAG Systems find new refurbishments a breeze

AAG Systems gained investment from the Sheffield City Region Growth Hub through the Business Investment Fund to help refurbish their newly acquired premises.

AAG Systems conduct a number of key activities in the IT world, including the sale of IT equipment, creating bespoke tablets and laptops, offering data storage and security. They have an impressive client list for well-known national organisations.

The company was expanding and purchased bigger premises to keep up with increasing demand for their services. However, they were unable to completely refurbish the premises due to insufficient finance.

AAG Systems applied for a grant of £34,000 through the Business Investment Fund via the Growth Hub.

With the help of Sheffield City Region Growth Hub, they assessed their current business systems and realised their future growth plans would be restricted if they transferred over to the unfurnished new premises.

Moving too early would see a drop in sales and a weaker ability to compete nationally.

With £120,000 needed to refurbish the property in its entirety, AAG Systems applied for a grant of £34,000 through the Business Investment Fund via the Growth Hub.

“The grant that AAG Systems received from Sheffield City Region was fundamental in allowing us to move premises and continue to push forward with our recruitment drive. We are now perfectly position to achieve our ambitions objectives, safe in the knowledge that we have the space to further grow and develop a business.”

Jason Fitzgerald, Managing Director

Upon gaining the grant, the company were able to invest in new air conditioning, heating, partitioning and telephone systems. The resulting refurbished premises provided a productive, motivational and fit for purpose environment and the company now aim to create 12 new jobs over the next two years.
